Pratt.edu is the main website for Pratt Institute, a private school of higher education in New York City. Pratt’s website aims to provide information about the school’s various programs as well as entice prospective students by highlighting the Institute’s unique offerings.
For this study, my team conducted a nine-person remote usability test to identify usability issues on the site. From the data collected through this testing, we delivered three recommendations to our client: the discoverability of the search bar should be increased, the many navigation menus should be combined into one, and the wording of certain menu labels should be altered. Specific details of these recommendations are outlined in our report of the study.
